Philanthropic Giving in Our Region

In 2011, the total amount of philanthropic giving in St. Louis was $2.5 billion. Individuals donated $1.8 billion of that. In this episode, Stay Tuned discusses if St. Louis is really a giving city, why people give and if it’s more or less difficult to give now than before. Mary McMurtrey of the Gateway Center for Giving shares some insight on how much people give and the way they contribute.
