Catalyst for Change

The events in Ferguson have had a profound effect on our community and the country. Some say it’s too early for healing; others say it’s time for dialogue focused on real change.

This week’s Stay Tuned asks the question: Can the events in Ferguson be a catalyst for change in our region and our country?

I hope you will join us Thursday at 9:00 p.m. on NinePBS when the Nine Network of Public Media, together with KSDK NewsChannel 5, present a special Stay Tuned simulcast. Casey Nolen and Art Holliday will co-host a discussion with young leaders about how to create real change going forward.

Guests on the show are Jo Mannies, St. Louis Public Radio; Lizz Brown, St. Louis American columnist; (aka Tef Poe recording artist/leader in the young black community; Amy Hunter, director of Racial Justice, YWCA; Brittany Packnett, Teach for America; Tishaura Jones, Treasurer, City of St. Louis; Mike Butler, Democratic Representative-St. Louis City; and Thomas Harvey, Arch City Defenders.
